The Coventry Society is pleased to see that a programme of musical events is to take place this year at Drapers’ Hall.
The hall is now managed on behalf of the Historic Coventry Trust by DH Venues, a specialist venue management company.
DH Venues was appointed by the Historic Coventry Trust to oversee the management of Drapers’ Hall starting in the summer of 2024. With a focus on delivering exceptional events, DH Venues brings expertise in event planning, hospitality, and venue operations to ensure that every occasion hosted at Drapers’ Hall is flawlessly executed and truly unforgettable.
The first event is entitled “Songs & Stories”: West End’s Simon Beck joins international pianist Julian Hellaby for an entertaining evening of songs and stories about LIFE, celebrating Broadway’s greatest writers. It is on Wednesday 12th March 2025 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are £16 (online) and £20 (at the door).
The second event is a Tribute to Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. Ben Holder (violin) and Stuart Carter-Smith (guitar) present an exciting tribute to the legendary jazz musicians Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt on Wednesday 9th April 2025 at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are £16 (online) and £20 (at the door).
There is also an Evening with Ami in June, and Celebrating Liszt in September. These performances showcase a blend of American show songs, jazz, vocal harmonies, and classical music. There is more information and a booking link on the Drapers’ Hall website at https://dhvenues.events/
