Bret Willers is Head of Sustainability & Climate Change at the City Council. He will talk on the subject “Delivering a Sustainable City – Rhetoric versus Action”.

Cities around the world have signed up to ambitious targets to deliver Zero Carbon without an idea of how they are going to get there.  Bret will outline the challenges a City like Coventry has to overcome to be able to deliver a sustainable zero carbon City and what it has achieved to date.

His presentation will firstly set the context and present the challenges facing cities like Coventry, followed by an outline of what the City is doing now and planning for the future.
